Oscar Wilde was not a fan of the English country gentleman fox hunter. When asked to explain, he replied “the unspeakable in full pursuit of the uneatable”.
The Huntsman is on the second floor of the Main House and is decorated in rich golds and browns. The queen bed with unique antique headboard faces the gas fireplace in the corner at the foot of the bed. The in-room vanity has a unique, surface-mounted copper bowl. The three windows provide plenty of light to the room and bath from the south.
The private bath has both a single-person whirlpool tub in a tiled platform with hand shower and separate spa shower.
Who cares what Oscar Wilde thought? He would have loved this handsome huntsman! |
