In the 7th century, Aesop wrote of the red fox, a brilliant fellow and very satisfied with his life:
“Mice shiver when they hear me yelp.
Vixen melt with my caress.
I am the hunter, lover of life,
Caring father and guardian of forest and field”.
This favorite room is on the third floor of the Main House. The queen bed is below two louvered covered windows and the room is adorned in reds and bright yellows. A reading chair is nestled next to the raised gas fireplace…the perfect retreat for reading…or dreaming. The old plank flooring and area rug are the perfect compliment to the bright and cheerful atmosphere of this room.
The private bath features a single-person whirlpool tub with hand shower under the sparkle of the beveled glass oval window. The black cherry colors of the room blend perfectly with the red toile stool and décor of the wood vanity and bowl. |
