 
The View is the term used when the quarry is sighted. To announce Charlie’s departure from a covert, a loud “Holloa” attracts the attention of the huntsman and pointing with hankie or hat in hand indicates the line.
The whites and greys of the sloped 9 foot ceilings, and the five windows looking out over the pasturelands to the south and west, give The View the feeling of the sky and its openness. The two comfortable wicker chairs in the sitting area flank the gas fireplace under the three louver-shuttered windows. The classic antique headboard of the queen bed and the white hues of the antique armoire add to the airiness of this room on the third floor of the Main House.
The private bath with its bright red claw foot tub with hand shower and pedestal sink complete this room with “The View”. |
