Our historic estate features 29 acres of scenic backgrounds, a newly renovated Victorian mansion with fireplaces and stained glass, wrap-around porches, verandas, and patios. From start to finish Slade’s Inn offers a bride planning, a variety of vendor selections, catering and overnight guest accommodations.

Wedding Ceremonies

Begin your marriage on the veranda or in front of a warm lit fireplace in our newly renovated Victorian B&B located in the heart of Maryland’s Horse Country. Our wedding ceremony venues are available seven days a week. Slade’s Inn offers a unique pastoral setting complemented by a “step back in time” atmosphere as you enter stained glass doors to an elegant reception area leading back to private dining rooms and sunlit porches. Special “in-house” services including ‘his and hers’ massages, bridal party hair and make-up sessions, brunches and teas are all available to make your experience complete.

Receptions

Our venue offers an indoor capacity for a buffet reception up to 100 people. For larger, more formal receptions tenting is available to accommodate seated dinners and dance floors up to 150 people. For those looking for a “place of their own” and “memories” that will last a lifetime, you should truly consider holding your reception at our inn. With the rental of all 10 luxurious guestrooms during your reception, one will feel as if Slade’s Inn has become “theirs” for the weekend. For receptions over 150 people, why not rent all our guestrooms for your "special" wedding guests and inquire about reception possiblities directly across the street at The Manor Tavern. Together, Slade's Inn and The Manor Tavern can create a lovely wedding weekend for you.

Rehearsal Dinners

Having your reception elsewhere? Slade’s Inn would still like to be a part of your special memories. One of our multiple site choices for your rehearsal dinner will bring your families together in a warm, home-like atmosphere rather than a crowded restaurant where you may have time constraints. You will have the entire evening to meet and greet, to enjoy the delicacies from our list of great caterers, and to prepare for the big day. Slade's Inn will cater up to 50 people seated for a rehearsal dinner. Rates may vary during the "in-season" and on weekends.

Please inquire at info@sladesinn.com with any special requests or for venue pricing. Slade’s Inn basic Ceremony Package starts at $300 for a 1 ½ hour service and is limited to 30 guests. The Bride and Groom may choose any site on our property ...countryside, veranda, porch, inside by the fire…whichever fulfills your dreams! Our basic Wedding Reception package starts at $3000 for a 4-hour reception which includes the full use of the indoor and outdoor facilities.  Slade's Inn only accepts licensed and approved caterers on site for all types of events.
